Review on TP-LINK Archer C7 AC1750 Dual Band Wireless AC Gigabit Router - Renewed with Two USB Ports, IPv6 and Guest Network by Riko Doi ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

In my own experience, I can say with absolute certainty that the router is fantastic. I purchased this new one to replace the previous one, which was also a TP-Link N600. It was necessary for the OneMesh function I was using. The unit is equipped with two amps of the RE300 variety. There were no issues whatsoever when setting it up. I combined the names of the two Wi-Fi bands into a single network name. When it came to the amplifiers themselves, I had to experiment a little bit. owing to the fact that they are bound to the MAC addresses of the network. Yet, in a general sense, everything works wonderfully. Switching takes basically no time at all on mobile phones. Everything is running smoothly in spite of the fact that I have a second amplifier connected to the first one, and not to the router itself. In general, however, everything is working as it should. The only catch is that they are unable to sort the DHTsP table and the table containing bound IP-shniks based on the addresses themselves. That is, if I first drive in an address, for example, 19220228.0.50, then 19220228.0.53 and then 19220228.0.32, then the last address does not fit into the sort - it will be the last in the table - a little inconvenient, especially when there are more than 40 addresses, this is not only on this router)) In other words, if I first drive in an address, for example, 19220228.0.50, then But, this is merely my personal perspective)) Other from that, I am quite content with this "piece of iron," and I shall keep my fingers crossed that it will not expire anytime soon.

Pros
  • Price, Performance, Ease of Use, and How Quickly It Can Be Installed
Cons
  • none for me
