Review on Enhanced SEO-Optimized MOOG 513188 Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly by Eric Jefferson

Looks good! for stock

Bought for my 2007 Chev Trailblazer 4x4. The passenger wheel started making noises. Isolated it from the passenger side using a trick I read in another review. Worked great. Thanks to whoever posted this little trick. Raise each front wheel so the wheel spins freely. Place a hand on the coil spring below and wrap your fingers around the spring. Spin the wheel with your other hand and just see how you feel. In my case, I definitely felt a slight vibration in the spring on the first wheel (passenger side). This side lowered and the other side raised. Did the same and the spring had no vibration and was smooth as silk when the wheel turned. Replaced the bearing in a few hours, took the time to get it right and now there is no wheel bearing noise when driving. Pretty easy task if you're mechanically inclined enough and have a few hours to spare. Be sure to tighten the bearing to the recommended 103 ft-lbs.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
