30 years ago it was easy to find a quality water mattress. not so good today! Luckily, Revain came to the rescue! My original mattress lasted over 25 years and never leaked, but it has worn out (stretched) and required far more water than was safe to make it comfortable. The second mattress was fine, but after a few years a few holes or stress cracks appeared where you lay down on the bed. I've patched it but for the last few years it continues to leak from a new hole every 6-8 months. This mattress is way better than my second one. and equal to the original. It has reinforced corners as shown in the pictures and the vinyl is quite thick and durable. It was easy to fill, there is no "hump" in the middle, it's nice and flat. It's solid too, if you put your knee in the bed don't fall into the frame underneath! A lot of people have complained about the cheap cap but this one seems ok. However, in case it breaks, I kept the old seal and cap from my other mattresses so I have spares.
