Pay attention to the height of the vases.

Just a note. Note the height of the 3 vases. I had to use a ruler and find 3 objects of the same height around the house to group them to get a sense of the proportions. I thought they would be great on my mantle above the mantel, but they looked dwarfed by the other two much more substantial decorative pieces I already had on my mantle. Even using a book to install and some greenery tucked in between didn't help. Now they're on a side table, but I didn't originally buy them for that.
