I put this in my disaster preparedness kit. I will also use it for camping. It has many features, but the most important is the ability to listen to the radio during a natural disaster when the power goes out. You can use the crack for light and radio. for AM, FM and weather broadcasts. The radio is very easy to tune and very clean. The flash has 3 settings and is very bright. It was able to charge my Note 20 phone at normal (slow) charging speed. but with 4000mah it will take a little while. It says you should charge the battery with the cable first, and the crank/solar is there only to keep the battery charged. I tried to spin it for a full minute, it's pretty tiring. The reading lamp also has a proximity sensor function. This means you can set this to detect possible intruders/creatures from your website. I tried this with our dog and she turned on the light as soon as she got within 5ft of the sensor. My only complaint is that solar charging can't recharge the battery, so it can be reused to charge your phone. Recommend this item as survival/camping gear.
