I bought three pairs of these shorts! I really like them but I understand why they get mixed reviews! They are made from thick quality cotton. Despite the price, they don't look cheap. I have washed and dried them several times and they have retained their shape and quality. There is definitely something unique about these shorts. 1) Left pocket, most people are right-handed! And it has a zipper that is difficult to open at times. 2) The belt tends to be tight as it has a thicker elastic band. This is great for people with small waists, but can be restrictive for taller people and cause discomfort and cupcakes. I love the quality and fit of these shorts and have received several compliments on them. Would like more colors in my size. I'm 5ft 7in and 155lbs. I ordered a medium size.
