The problem is that the REPLACEMENT filter comes with 2 o-rings, one for the engine filter, one for the chassis filter. I change the O-rings every time I change the filter. Guess I'll have to save and reuse some o-rings. For $99 you should be able to find a better solution than using "Thread Sealer". I thought the reason for the 2 grooves on the gas cap is to install 2 o-rings, which btw are NOT INCLUDED.
