Firstly, the brush is hard enough to treat stubborn, heavily soiled material well, yet soft enough not to scratch or damage delicate material. I use it to clean the car interior. There is no need to change the brushes as I am upgrading from a hard plastic door panel to leather seats. This hub has a quick change shank, but also fits perfectly in a standard drill. The drill bit used, max at 1500rpm, although I don't usually spin it that fast to clean. The brush works well at slower speeds. The bristles held their shape and none broke out of the base plate. I've used it on 5 different vehicles so far, cleaning a dirty rubber floor on a work truck, plastic door panels, leather and vinyl seats. and some heavily soiled fabrics all set with equal success. The efficiency of using the brush has saved me energy and time, allowing me to work more and faster. I definitely recommend this brush.
