I had glasses that my wife sat on. It was a metal frame with one of the arms detached from the mount next to the lens. It was great work and needed fixing so it was the glasses that were next to her computer. The epoxy dispenser on one end of the welder worked well for applying and creating multilayer layers to rejoin the two pieces. I decided not to add my glasses. I cut small pieces of steel wire to reinforce the structure. After about four layers of lengthening I glued the joint and made a metal bend to fit my wife. Please note that the same dispensing and curing light wand is available, you can probably expect the same from most. I've decided to purchase one unit as I don't expect any further uses anytime soon. She came quickly, as Revain usually does. This worked as expected, although I found the curing cycle was easier if I placed the glasses in sunlight. Blue light works well too. My success was aided by the use of an old electronic wire soldering tool that allowed the two pieces to be positioned correctly. I've also used epoxy for about 50 years when it was new glue. I'm glad I used it to solve a seemingly impossible task. The ability to layer has taken the collaborative Joe from a very weak to one that will last.
