I was very happy with my Philips Hue bulbs. They don't fit in the dome like a standard A19 bulb. The socket is NOT E26 as the product description and several reviewers say. Base - E12 or candelabra base. It contains the same bulbs used in chandeliers, mini fridges and night lights. They emit MUCH less light than most standard bulbs. Although there is no standard, most "regular" lightbulbs put out 600 lumens but can easily reach 4000-6000 on a 60 watt basis. The luminous flux of candelabra is usually 350 lumens. It also changes the placement and use of the lamp. This is NOT to light up a room, but as an accent or to light up a corner. I fully understand the confusion among buyers but I am very unhappy with the misrepresentation of the Rivet product as it was a waste of my time and money and I would not have bought it had I known how it worked. Before I bought it, I specifically looked for the e26 base and asked about it. Not normal.
