I love this set! I now have every size cast iron skillet I need to cook just about anything I want. This set includes 8, 10 & 12 inch pots PLUS 3 glass lids and 3 silicone handles. This is an incredible deal, especially when compared to Lodge cast iron cookware prices. I got this whole set for about the price of 1 12 inch lodge pan with lid. I am delighted with the quality and durability. The performance is also top notch. They cook just as evenly as the Lodge 14 inch cast iron skillet my grandma got me. These are well weighted and durable pans. They're pre-aged, but I always like to reseason my cast iron when I get them. Seasoning always seemed so complicated to me until my grandmother told me her secret. Rub the entire pan, including the handle, with linseed oil, then place in an oven preheated to 500 degrees for 1 hour. After an hour, turn off the oven and leave in the oven to cool. Just as! Everything I have made with these pans has been perfect. We cooked steaks, potatoes, bacon and eggs. I even used a metal spatula and the spices didn't come off. I love the silicone grips. They fit snugly and snugly so I don't have to worry about them slipping off when I use the pan. The glass lids are very well made from tempered glass and have a stainless steel rim that reinforces the glass making it unbreakable. They are also oven safe and have a silicone grip on top. I would highly recommend these pans and will definitely return to this brand if I need a different stainless steel pan. Trust me you won't be disappointed!
