This product lasted about 3 weeks before it shorted out and literally fried my display port on my computer. Don't buy unless you want a shorted motherboard, burned displayports, or a house fire. It burned so badly it smoked up behind my computer, a loud shocking noise and a huge black speck around the connectors and male side of this product's mini display port literally burning through the metal (a burned hole in the outer case). I'm lucky it didn't burn down my house and completely blew my computer. Manufacturer support and Revain take no responsibility, so after purchasing this product I cannot even use another company's adapter to have a second monitor. because it roasted BOTH displayports on my computer.
