Review on AQUACREST Compatible Aqua Pure Whirlpool WHKF GAC Filtration by Brian Malith

This was a direct replacement for my WHKF GAC filters. I just unscrewed the filter housing, removed the old filter. Then I cleaned the inside of the case before inserting a new cartridge and reinstalling the case. I also used a new o-ring as the old one was starting to rot a bit and I bought 2 of these a while back. Let's hope the water quality is the same as it used to be with original hot tub filters, but I'll never know without testing the water. 4 cartridges for $36 seems like a pretty good deal! They also come with 2 sets of "month" stickers for every 12 months x 2 to stick on the filter housing to show the month of change - handy!
