I was MUCH more than pleasantly surprised by the outstanding sound quality - bass is deep and responsive (both mids and lows were excellent), mids are crisp and clear, making it easy to distinguish between individual instruments and voices . , and I heard no whistling or harsh highs. Musical, fun and "rich" sound. They're also made of plastic, which gives the impression of being cheap, but they're durable and that's the main thing. I used them almost every day, they offer good noise isolation if they fit snugly in your ears. Unfortunately for me and my small ear canals, they're decent at best, and eventually, because the earcups are too big, they slowly but surely fall out of my ears. If, like me, you have small ear canals, you might be better off searching the internet for smaller ear tips, or looking for another pair of budget-friendly headphones. They connected easily and quickly to both my Android and iPhone. One of my favorite features is the ability to just plug in and use one earbud like the old Bluetooth headsets of the past. A tote that charges is a great design. And it doesn't need a separate charging cable, it plugs directly into any USB port on the case with its own (short) cable! It's so cool compared to my beats.
