First of all I have to say that the ideal user of this product is someone who spends a lot of time playing video games or working behind a screen. I personally use this product to play Xbox One, but it's also great for everyday work or even a dual monitor setup. If you occasionally play video games or don't spend a lot of time in front of your computer, this monitor might not be worth buying. Overall this really is a fantastic product for the price. Now I'm going to talk about a few benefits. The colors and picture are fantastic and the fact that it has external speakers is a huge plus as many monitors don't have them. I've never had a major problem with this monitor in the year and a half that I've owned it. The frame rate and image quality are surprisingly high. I used to have trouble playing games on big TV screens because I had a delayed response time, which put me at a disadvantage when playing online games. With this BenQ, this problem will disappear completely. I highly recommend this monitor if you intend to use it for gaming or computer work. Here are a few minor downsides. The first negative is the speakers, which was actually one of my pluses. It's true that it's a plus that this monitor has speakers, but they're a bit quiet. If you intend to use this monitor for gaming and require extremely high quality sound, these speakers may not deliver the desired sound quality and volume. If you fall into this category and buy this monitor, I would also recommend getting some sort of in-game audio gaming headset that many gamers already have anyway. This product would be an ideal monitor if it could deliver louder and higher quality audio. Another small thing that could improve things is moving the menu buttons to a more convenient spot or adding a remote control to the monitor. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the impressive performance of this monitor considering it's priced well below many others. other competitors or even other BenQ models. If you're looking for an inexpensive monitor that can handle all the required tasks without major hassles, look no further. You will not regret it!
