A protein/fat/carbohydrate ratio of 35/38/28 (dry matter, moisture adjusted) is a pretty good balance, especially for my slightly overweight dogs. Judging by the label alone, that's a great price for a grain-free product with no excess fat. In addition, this food has a 4.5 (out of 5) star rating on DogFoodAdvisor.com. However, the dogs showed some unpleasant reactions when eating this food. They ate very slowly and sniffed suspiciously. I've also noticed watery stools while feeding this food. There are too many variables to fully attribute this meal, but I was hesitant to try again, which is a shame because it would be great value for a grain-free product if I thought it was a quality meal.
