Ordered these on the assumption (I know) Corsair case fans these days support variable PWM speeds. Well, not this fan model. It's just a 3 pin connection to yours Motherboard and don't change the speed when connected to PWM fan controllers as these require 4 pin fans which allow variable PWM speed control of the fan In my case it was silent with the original PWM fans These fans are much louder since they run at full speed (26 dBA at 1200 RPM) If you want 140mm variable speed LED fans, get Corsair ML (Mag Lev) fans with 4- pin PWM connectors
