Type of review

I'm sorry to give this review but I couldn't find a way to make a complaint: my problem is that I ordered 3 separate fans and only received 2. The fans are pretty quiet: not as quiet as the Arctic but pretty good, they can get a bit noisy during intense gaming but for the most part they're good. They are excellent value for money (still good 2 for the price of 3) and were fairly easy to install (I had some issues, probably tower skin related.

These are 3-pin full-speed fans, not 4-pin variable-pin PWM fans! :-(

Ordered these on the assumption (I know) Corsair case fans these days support variable PWM speeds. Well, not this fan model. It's just a 3 pin connection to yours Motherboard and don't change the speed when connected to PWM fan controllers as these require 4 pin fans which allow variable PWM speed control of the fan In my case it was silent with the original PWM fans These fans are much louder since they run at full speed (26 dBA at 1200 RPM) If you want 140mm variable speed LED fans, get…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Annoying

Very loud electronics

Three of these as a lower intake. The fans are very loud right out of the box. Works at maximum speed. Does not respond to changes in mob speed. Will likely be replaced by a 4 pin PWM model. Noctuas is still much better if silence is important to you. These AF 120 are damn loud.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Good LED fans! in Internal Components

As this is my first build and has so many different fans I have decided to just stick with these. They're pretty decent fans if the price doesn't put you off. They have enough airflow to be used as exhaust fans, and while they aren't PWM fans, you can still control the fan speed with DC voltage if your motherboard has that capability. The fan housing is quite solid and not flimsy. The white LEDs only serve to illuminate the inside of the housing. I read some reviews that said the brightness of…

3 pin not 4 pin PWM

NOTE: This is not a 4 pin PWM fan. I made this mistake, obviously others have done the same. Seller: If you want fewer returns, please indicate "3". -pin" somewhere in the listing title. They managed to squeeze the word "cooling" twice into the damn fan and the subjective description of the noise level - you can of course take a little space to tell us what the heck this product is in terms of compatibility with our needs.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • gets mad
