Ordered these on the assumption (I know) Corsair case fans these days support variable PWM speeds. Well, not this fan model. It's just a 3-pin connection to your motherboard and Don't change its speed when connected to PWM fan controllers, as these require 4-pin fans that allow variable PWM fan speed control.In my case, it was quiet with the original PWM fans.These fans are much louder as they run at full speed (26 dBA @ 1200 rpm) If you want 140mm variable speed LED fans, get Corsair ML fans (Mag Lev) with 4-pin PWM pin headers
