Review on Summer Infant Decorative Pressure Mounted by Alex Hensen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The gate bends at the extension point. production fixed! Yes

I wrote a review below because the gate flexes in overtime. I spoke to the manufacturer of the grille (SummerInfant.com) and they sent me a replacement grille and a return label so I could ship it back. Excellent customer service and for that I give four stars. I like the goal but not the crease in the goal section and the overtime. Preview: The point where the extension meets the gate flexes and can't seem to pull it hard enough to keep it from flexing. Where the mental stakes enter the gate, no pipe should be long enough to prevent it from bending. don't know what to do to fix it. will call the seller/manufacturer to find out why it is bent at this point. other similar gates I have don't flex at this point. I can't tighten or twist the ends either. I wish I had bought this gate. Bought because of the wide human opening. I didn't think the point of failure would be where the supplied extension and gate part is. This has never happened before. Also, there was NO packaging for delivery and the box was completely crumpled. There were a few scratches on the gate that I can touch and fix, but I don't know how to fix the kink on the extension. We have a dog door and a small 8 foot walkway in our garage where we wanted to put a gate. Prevents dogs from running out of the garage when we open the garage door. It will not work. The dog deck spout is sturdy and will not bend or bend like a gate. We had another gate with a smaller door that worked great for ten years. He was exhausted and decided to buy one with a large gate. Damn.
