Crooked garlands on tree tops

The Christmas tree itself is beautiful, but the cheap garland has been wrapped around it askew so that one arm of the star doesn't burn at all. It only looks broken if you light it up in a dark room. I could try spooling the light thread, but the wire is flimsy and I'm afraid I might break it if I try. I would choose another.
