For the price I expected a better scraper. I've bought scratchers for less than $8 that lasted for years before breaking to the point of being unusable. The cardboard on it is not pressed tightly, so it falls apart very easily. Both of my adopted cats love round beds so I knew they would love it. They have a couple of scrapers including corrugated which they have had for over 6 months and are still going strong. I've had it for 10 days and it's completely torn apart. It also made a big mess (all corrugated scrapers make a mess, but this one was funny). I gave 2 stars just because they like to sleep on it. If you have a cat that only sleeps on it, then everything is fine. All of my cats have been trained to use them to scratch since they were little (I rescue and raise kittens and cats until they find homes, so I need products that last). It didn't cost $16.
