sous vide worked well but there are problems. I also have Anova but I bought it for Easter. The buttons are very difficult to understand. I couldn't figure it out and used a programming app instead. Another big issue is that there is a plastic tumbler at the bottom of the sous vide machine. It has a lid but holes so every time I used it it pulled the bag in and created holes. This was very frustrating and definitely a design flaw. I had to drain the water from the bag and transfer it to new bags. I love cooking the juice that collects in the bag and I had to drain it all. I would not recommend this brand. I have never had such a problem with Anova.
