The braided cable is great, it doesn't take much to make it work.
This cable works great. For the first week and a half that I used it, it charged my phone perfectly. Last time I tried to use it it didn't work. I've tried everything to get it working. It will not. I like the braided part of the cable. As a result, the cable is very hard-wearing on the outside. I think the inside is just junk.
