Works as needed for 10x10 memory module

Got this for my friend's memory module. Its storage unit is 10x10. We ordered 2 of these (4 total) and put one in each corner and they worked fine. We tested them after 2.5 months (April-mid June), they have absorbed moisture and not shed. All were completely filled with water. We ordered more. When we first got them, my girlfriend put them on. She opened them with gloves on because she said they contained chemicals that could burn skin (she's a biologist). After reading the label and some of the reviews here it seems this has happened to a few people. My friend said the smell isn't the best if you're sensitive to smells (that's why we chose Fresh) but it reminded her of the smell she was working with in the lab. She said it smelled like ether, a chemical that kills flies. It can become strong if you're around for too long and can cause dizziness and/or headaches. She used scissors to open the bags, poured the beads into buckets, and placed them one at a time in each corner of the device. After she was done, she put the trash in a small trash bag, took off her gloves and threw it all away, then washed her hands and scissors with soap and water. Very easy to set up. But take gloves.

Pros
  • Reduces mold and mildew growth
