I found the amp to be working well: the 50 foot 4D FB cable is 25 feet longer here and with a weak signal I decided to cut the cable to the required length and found that the SMA crimp connectors for 4D-FB were not available to me. Bought a 32ft 5D FB and it made a significant difference - very happy! So while I think the amp is good, and also that maybe something doesn't go over well with the cable, I don't know.
