At the time of purchase this was the CHEAPEST quad monitor stand at $68.89. Yes, it cuts corners, but nothing detracts from its functionality. I wasn't expecting it to be that great, but its thick metal construction and adjustable hinges really make it stand out (even among pricier mounts). Between this monitor and the $500 Ergotech monitor, things are way better. . It comes disassembled, so take a good hour or so to assemble it, mount all the monitors on it and route the cables. So far, so good. It's easier to mount monitors to brackets than to mount the bracket to a stand. It also makes it faster if you have two people to assemble it. Holding the arm and two monitors with one hand and tightening them with the other is tricky, but once assembled you feel like a real man (btw I did it alone .as MAN :O) even if you only have one monitor or on your arm, no, no inclination. Pros - Monitors are level (if not, adjust rotation). - Comes with *enough* cable attachment points. (Two clips per monitor arm + two larger clips for the main stand.) - The actual mounting piece on the bottom holds up very well (about 3.5 inches front and back, and the height adjusts 7.0+ inches) - opens lots of desk space (good because I have a small table and don't want to spend $500 for a bigger one, so I just bought this stand and it works just as well.) - All ports except [rotate left-right] are adjustable (i.e. you can tighten or loosen each with the included hex key). - each monitor can be rotated (i.e. can be tilted, rotated left and right and panned back and forth) in the y, z and x axes - the entire mount is easy to move, even with the monitors attached. - packaged really well - the part that comes in contact with the top of the table has foam padding so it shouldn't ruin your table unless you over tighten the clamp screws. - Looks sleek and professional without taking away the awe of the quad monitor ops. (before I put them side by side and it's really not that productive) - increases productivity by bringing four screens closer together. , but it's not powder coated either.) - Screws if they come with non-black ones, like everything else on this stand (since my desk isn't against a wall and I have mild OCD I'll just cover or paint) - If you are running more than two cables to each monitor, the cable management clips will not be large enough. - In my opinion, it's not big enough for a 27" quad-core monitor (I have a 23" monitor and it raises my bottom row of monitors 7" from my desk. - The cables aren't hidden, but it can be easily made for a few bucks. - Heavy (to be expected. If you have a flimsy chipboard table like mine it won't. I also have a thick metal brace running down my back to hold it in place. - not a custom one Height adjustment monitors, although it's perfect.Not necessary for me and most people.You can still adjust the height of the entire screen and move two monitors at once.
