Completely satisfied: litter boxes

First let me talk about the smell, yes it is. There is a sticker on the bottom of the device indicating formaldehyde compliance. I thought it was funny because upon unboxing I thought it smelled like gel manicure. And that's probably the scent others are talking about. The smell doesn't bother me, I do my own nails and it's a therapeutic hobby so to be honest I liked the smell when I was building. You should unpack the whole box instead of pulling out the pieces and leaving the stuff behind. My instructions were scrawled across the paper. There was no damage but I had an issue with one of the screws, luckily there is exactly 1 extra piece of each piece so I was able to easily replace it. Directions, I mixed up 2 side pieces so I had to disassemble, switch and reassemble. I don't know if it was because the parts weren't labeled clearly or if I was just tired. This time I really appreciated the build from scratch. That gives me a good idea of how durable it is. I bought another type of hideout at the same time, built it first and hated every minute I spent in it. In comparison, this one should have been more expensive (but it wasn't), so I think the current price of $123 is more than fair. It looks good and holds a hand and a sieve hammer (with a dustpan hidden behind it) perfectly. Anything taller or wider won't work; unless it was a little longer, so that's your limit in width. The magnets are strong and as long as you don't slam the doors all over the place, the hinges seem to hold. If not, it really doesn't cost anything to just buy another set. Seen here with a 14lb 4 month old puppy of unknown genetics (probably a forest dog/beagle mix, he is a lifesaver and is currently awaiting vet DNA results). Was hoping it was dog protection and that this box would keep him and the other two from eating anything as it was really out of control.

Pros
  • , CONCEALED IN DIRECT VIEW: The modern litter box impresses with an elegant and modern design that blends seamlessly into existing living facilities. There is a round opening on the side that allows your cat to jump in and out at will while the front doors remain closed. Your cat will appreciate the privacy.
