Started about 2 weeks ago. I felt great using this product for the first 8 days but the last few days have been very uncomfortable. I have pain in the middle of my back and my stomach is swollen from the pain in my ribs. I had a lot of bloating and stomach issues so I started taking it regularly. Not sure if this is the product itself as I think it restores gut integrity. Overall I feel good as it has definitely had a positive impact on my energy and sleep. I'm just waiting for my intestinal tract to recover and it might be too early, we're in a hurry too often! When you change your diet, there is always an adjustment phase in which the intestines have to adjust to the changes. The time will show. I think it's a little expensive but not more expensive than some. I usually use Thorne Research products whenever possible, but the price is very high. I need a very pure product because I am so sensitive to inferior ingredients and I hope that the issues I am having are not related to not being a pure product. I can't find any real information on where these companies source their ingredients. Because it could be the exact suppliers, just different marketing for each company? The time will show. I'm going to reduce my dose from taking one scoop twice a day to half a scoop 2 times a day and see if things subside. I'll update in two weeks Yes, it has a slightly bitter aftertaste that you won't feel until it's in your system. At least for me, and I try for hours. I hope that this will also go away when the dose is reduced. UPDATE: The aftertaste went away and other issues went away as I continued to use this. I reduced the dose but then went back to 2 scoops a day. I changed the star from four to five. I believe this is a great product.
