This is my favorite watercolor set that I haven't found yet. The box it comes in is nice and sturdy and although it's in Japanese there is a small section in the lid where you can do color swatches to see how all the colors will look dry. All color comes in nice little plastic. Rectangles that can be removed. For the most part that's good as you can replace them once they run out (I haven't been able to find a replacement, to my disappointment I just bought a small base set and replaced the white/etc with this one). My friend threw this off the counter and he chipped the edges of some of the colors, but I was able to reattach those pieces and they re-absorbed when I used those colors. The paints were easy to put back on as they have labels on the back of the plastic containers. I really like how creamy and opaque they are. They are really bright and smooth in work. I love her!
