I can't get enough of this. The air in our house is incredibly dry. I turned back the blankets and got sparks. My poor dog, as he rolled on the floor, his hair was sticking right out of static electricity. I bought a small humidifier for my bedroom and a large one to help out in front of the house. They don't make much noise at all. It just sounds like a fan. My sinuses have also been better since I am breathing better air. Do yourself a favor and get one. Both were worth their money.
