These silicone baking mats are ideal for many grilling and baking projects. I used them for shrimp and they were great because I didn't have to put them on skewers. I put one on one side of the grill to keep the food warm and on the other side to finish the grill. I like that it doesn't need to be lubricated. The food just slides off! The main reason I like them is that they allow me to cook a lot of different things together on the grill without having to fire up the oven. When it's summer in Southern California, you don't want to run the stove indoors. So I can roast and bake at the same time with the same amount of (expensive) gas. You can start roasting the potatoes earlier and then roast the steaks. I often bake twice in the morning and reheat on the grill before dinner. My guests go crazy and I'm the hero. LAUGH OUT LOUD. We all want to impress at the BBQ, and these rugs have come to the rescue. Inside I have one on the bottom shelf of the oven to catch drips from casseroles and pies. That's reason enough for me to buy it. Although they claim to be dishwasher safe, I usually just wipe them down and let them dry. I save them with no problems. You are very flexible. Pros: very useful for many purposes. I am constantly discovering new uses for myself. The food is coming soon. Cons: none yet.
