I was glad that the getgear silicone case fits my portable Samsung T5 1TB SSD with external USB Type-C port like a glove. The sleeve is curved to easily accommodate an SSD and provides a snug fit that doesn't seem to "roll" in my bag. My working measurements are approximately 3.25"L x 2-9/16"W x 9/16"H, giving the T5 a minimal size. The silicone is smooth enough to fit easily in a carrying case, which provides but enough stability to keep it on the table (the T5 is light and doesn't cause much drag. I'm sure the gear case protects my T5 during use, no touch controls) and had the same results.
