I'm so glad I bought this product! Like others who have posted reviews, I have a TV nook above the fireplace and needed a solution to help me hanging my tv above the room. The fireplace is in the middle of the wall so there is just no other place for a tv. This mount is perfect! The instructions were pretty straightforward. My only recommendation would be to use color pictures in future manuals instead of black and white images. I was a bit hesitant to buy this because I needed to mount an 82" TV and I think it says somewhere that the mount can fit up to a 75". I decided that my 82" LG TVs would be fine because: 1) LG TVs are VESA compliant; and 2) even though the TV is larger than the recommended 75 inches, it's still within weight ht area for the bracket. I'm so glad this product exists because I DID NOT want to buy a TV stand to put in front of me. my fireplace. It would look terrible and disrupt the openness of our living room. I really thought the price of this mount was a bit steep, but as you can see that didn't stop me from buying it. Rschunimagu. I wanted my TV to be installed more than I wanted this product to cost less. My friend installed the mount and then tightened it (it weighs 175!). It carried its weight perfectly, which gave me even more confidence that it can support our TV perfectly. Great product that definitely solved a unique problem!
