Works perfectly! Hard Sticks – Heat with a blow dryer to apply to a sling, belt sander, or buffing pad.

6 different beans. Each stick is very hard. EASY fix, just heat with a hair dryer until soft, then you can touch the rotating sanding belt or buffing wheel or put your thumb on the belt - be careful not to get too hot. The best edges I've had in a long time. I also use diamond paste - I don't see much of a difference and it's a lot cheaper. I apply different grits to different areas of the soft side of the leather belt (6-9 inches). You can also apply it to the smooth side of the skin, but I prefer flawlessly smooth skin. Get a used belt from a thrift store. - The bigger the better. Make sure it is GENUINE Leather and not PU (Faux) Leather. Or buy a sling already made. On a long strap I can get enough sections to put all 6 compound grains on the strap. Put it on a table/bench and use it as a sling for a paddle or the hand off the belt buckle and use it as a sling to hang. When hanging the belt, be sure to tug or the leather will wrap around the edge causing twisting and a dull edge. A trained sling with a VERY light touch works great. Mine came in a ziplock bag, but each stick was individually wrapped, not in commercial packaging. Should I deduct a star for that - NO. I appreciate the product, not the packaging that just gets thrown away.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
