Just received today, hooked up to my Pi with Recalbox/Kodi. Worked "out of the box" (insert two AAA batteries once). The very first thing you will notice when using this remote control is how beautifully the cursor moves! At first it will seem sporadic, but now I just understand that it's just really eager to please. It's accurate but fast. The mouse pointer MAY be disabled. From there, all the buttons work as they should on Kodi. My guess is that Kodi only sees the remote as a multimedia keyboard (sorry, I'm not interested in querying input source codes right now). My only real complaint here is that while the navigation buttons are nice to press with enough travel, they feel a bit squeezed. You CAN feel the difference between them, so you don't feel like it's impossible to work without looking at the remote BUT you can still put your finger down if you're in a hurry to press something . Each button offers just as much travel as it SHOULD, so you don't feel cheated out of a satisfying press. For a €12 remote control that was delivered very quickly, I am absolutely satisfied and will buy it again for every Kodi installation. Addendum: Just noticed! During operation, only the keys pointing upwards may be used! This way you don't have to worry about pressing a key on the keyboard while working on the remote side, or vice versa! It does mean that you can't use the remote and try to press the button upside down or something, but I'd still call it a nice feature!
