Anyone who uses Apple's OEM MacBook Pro Power Adapter on the go will understand the need for one of these adapter cables. Attached directly to the wall, the large square power box feels carefully designed to pop off the wall with a bang when you need it most. This cable replaces the 2-pin plug-in unit and allows you to move the massive cantilevered white unit to the floor where it won't get in the way. This extension cord fits the brick very snugly without going anywhere. The cable itself is very flexible but seems strong enough. The color at the end is a little different, but for half the price of a $19 OEM cable I don't care. I'll see how it holds up, but I like it and will use it everywhere.
