I was excited I gave it a try after reading the reviews. I thought this would be great considering how often I forget to grab something from the freezer for dinner. Unfortunately I was frustrated after I FINALLY tried it. It took over an hour to thaw 2 pieces of salmon that were only about 1 1/2 inches thick. The only difference between the defrost tray and the counter defrost is that it was free to leave it on the counter. The silicone feet don't stay on. They fall off as soon as I pick them up. I have to remove the legs before putting them away for storage or they will be lost. I'm very glad I didn't pay more If you like watching an ice cube melt in a few minutes then this defrosting bowl is a real treat for you. This is probably the best trick ever.
