As you may have heard, the new MacBooks initially only support one external display due to the limitations of the m1 chip. As a screen geek who still hasn't succumbed to the temptation to use ultra-wide monitors, there was no way I wanted my existing monitors to become obsolete. Type wavlink usb to hdmi adapter. This adapter features DisplayLink, which essentially means you can connect monitors via a USB connection without any noticeable loss in performance. Believe it or not, the image and color accuracy on the DisplayLink monitor was BETTER than the native! So much so that I used a DisplayLink hub and 2 of these Wavlink adapters to achieve the multi-screen setup shown in the image. It's really adorable. This actually made it possible to connect another monitor! I just didn't have to, I took it off. This product is a find for the price, highly recommended.
