"WOULD YOU PUT THOSE THINGS IN THE WASH ALREADY?" -- my husband. Okay, so maybe I should have ordered more than one pair. These pants are so soft and comfortable that I probably wore them a TAD bit longer than I should have before washing. The material is airy and thin enough that these make great pajama pants in warmer weather, and the waist is so comfortable that they worked perfectly after some recent abdominal surgery (hence the reason I wore them too long). The waist stayed put and did not tug at or otherwise irritate the incision. They fit true to size for me, and the waist has a bit of stretch if you need it. The legs are a little long, so if you are average height or shorter these probably won't do for workout pants. They are perfect for pj's, beach pants, loungewear and for some folks post-surgery pants. I will definitely be ordering more pairs!
