This is a terrible funnel. I've had a Target plastic ball hopper for 20 years, but I needed a second one and bought this one. Big mistake. Thank god I didn't give away the plastic. Look at the difference in lip height. Metal hardly penetrates the pot and the funnel slips out of the neck of the pot with the slightest carelessness when pouring. I made a huge mess the first time I used it when pouring soup. This not only caused a mess but was extremely dangerous. I use jars not only for preserving food but also for storing leftovers and I need a well made and safe funnel. To use this funnel you need to hold it with one hand while pouring water with the other. This action is not only dangerous, but also unnecessary. This funnel is useless.
