Washes beautifully and dries straight from the dryer with no creases. There are drawstrings in the corners, which makes filling the blanket much easier. The fabric is so soft that even my 8 year old son commented on how soft it felt. It's a bit thin, but you don't see that on the ceiling. The material looks luxurious, but be aware that if your pillowcases have any prints on them, you will need pillowcases as they are see-through. This is easy to fix. My biggest complaint is that it's slightly smaller. I bought a king bed for my main king bed, but it didn't have as much fabric hanging down the sides as I would have liked. The sheets were hanging on the outside of the duvet cover so I put the king duvet cover on the guest queen bed instead and now the king duvet covers are too long for the bed which worries me. Overall this is a very good duvet cover for the price but as I said it didn't fit my king size bed.
