Bought a very similar case without the touchpad and my kids broke it! I decided to improve my body. I didn't know the touchpad was available for the iPad. This is definitely better quality than the last one. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this keyboard case is! It was easy to connect. Like my last. The touchpad works the same as it does on a laptop and more. I didn't see any explanations about the touchpad in the reviews. It's a click, a left click, a right click, even a soft click. It has other gestures that I really appreciate like four finger swipe on home screen, scroll, swipe, and there are other gestures in the guide. I have some criticisms on this. First, when I use my middle finger multiple times, it thinks I'm using two fingers. Second, if you don't use the touchpad for a while, using the touchpad won't activate it. You must press the keyboard for the touchpad to work. Fourth, several times the mouse doesn't appear when I turn the case on from the off position. I have to turn it off and on again to use the touchpad. And fifth, I want the case to be fully open so I can focus on Photoshop or just put the keyboard away. My last case was a whirlwind which I believe led to his downfall. These problems don't bother me at all because they are easy to fix. I like this cover very much. If they make the same case but fully open WITHOUT 360 degree rotation I will definitely have it in a heartbeat.
