! As everyone probably already knows, halogen lamps generate a lot of heat. These LED bulbs produce almost no heat, just a little warm to the touch compared to my old halogen bulbs which do feel and warm the room. I use 3000k and they give off a bright, natural warm light. I originally ordered 4000k but didn't like the ultra bright very cold daylight tone. I'm new to LED lighting temperature and should have done more research. So if you want a light but soft more natural look choose 3000k, if you want an ultra bright cool blue/day tone choose 4000k. These GU10 LED bulbs are slightly larger than regular halogen bulbs. But the fit and function of the base/stem is perfect, a small part of the rim that expands makes it easy to attach and remove. Also, unless mentioned in the product description, I will mention here that they are NOT dimmable. And for those who, like me, have not changed the bulbs for a long time and have forgotten how to remove them: push in slightly and turn 90 degrees to the left, and then pull out. Overall I am very happy with them and would recommend them.
