1. Although this lock looks like a standard master lock, its body is actually slightly smaller, thinner and lighter. This actually works for me because I use it as a gate lock and don't have much room to put the lock between the fence door and my house. But don't expect your standard master lock with a cable.2. The diameter of the cable fits perfectly through the protective latch holes that allow locking. This was a big problem for me because I wanted to lock the fence both front and back with a cable and not a standard lock.3. Outdoor durability can be questionable. I haven't had it outside in a season and can see some rust on the bottom of the lock. The lock isn't advertised as durable on the outside, but I decided to give it a try.
