I was glad I found this size suction cup for my quilting rulers. This size is perfect for a medium sized ruler. This allows me to hold the ruler more firmly, reducing the chance of it slipping. I'm always afraid that the knife will slip and cut my hand. With this suction cup holder, my hand doesn't get in the way of the rotary cutter. I can safely cut without wearing thick gloves.
