Review on Nutri-Berries Avi-Cakes - Classic Blend - 20 lb by Jennifer Franks

My 12 year old green cheeked kennel has been a fan of Avi-Cakes since she was young. Although the packaging says you can use it as a complete poultry diet, I firmly believe in the importance of fresh produce. We only use Avi-Cakes as a reward/supplement. They are also a kind of toy as little birds have a lot of fun tearing up easily sticky cakes. I usually stick it in the cage grate just above her food bowl and she plucks it, choosing the seeds that seem the most appealing. The only real downside is that sometimes you end up with an outdated or difficult batch. Sometimes tough aren't even obsolete - they're just tough. Although my sparrow will eat them anyway, she doesn't like it and I usually just throw away the bad ones and buy a new pack (or send them back if it fits).
