I was excited to ship this product as the BMW dealer said they would fit the perforated panel into the bumper IF AND ONLY IF I decline all liability for any damage during fitting (nice attempt BMW) Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product in the way I had hoped. The pressure plate, pivot plate and receiver cup are made of composite plastic and will not snap. They tighten, but any slight movement on the backing plate and the entire clasp, pressure plate and pivot plate loosens and the plate holder will fall or wobble down (hanging free). I'll try to use some strong glue (probably gorilla glue - this wasn't recommended by the manufacturer) to stabilize the platter and cradle. Otherwise the product ends up in my trash. Great idea but bad design. I cannot currently recommend this product.
