Good quality wooden parts and very well finished. The fit was good, there are a couple of places where the fit is tight and parts can break under impact. They give you a few extra parts in case you run into problems, and a little glue will fix most broken parts if you damage any of them. This set is a bit difficult for a beginner, I would recommend having some modeling experience or having adult help to build. A good modeling knife is useful for trimming a small burr at the joint of a part with a sheet metal, as well as for trimming dowels to length. The model started on the first try and runs fairly quickly in direct sunlight. This is a beautiful set that is fun to build and looks great when complete.
