Review on Outlet Spacers Electrical Extender SPACERR by Christopher Pfaffe

better than other options

Okay, I'll admit the RIGHT way to solve this problem is to put in a new box and patch the drywall. When you're making a replacement outlet cover or even a do-it-yourself outlet and the room has been freshly painted, it's hard to justify. These things were a lifesaver for me on a recent project. The holes in the drywall were too big and the box pushed back too far. The drawer extensions didn't help because the hole in the drywall was too wide for them to push against. Those little spacers worked great. I tried another kind sold here and had no luck. These were supplied in strips and the idea was to lay the strips at the appropriate depth. They kept falling off the screw and I was never able to determine the exact thickness.

Pros
  • NON-CONDUCTIVE; Our electrical box extension kit comes with (6) 3" non-conductive power strips that can be easily cut to any length; Simply measure the required length of outlet box and insert into recess
Cons
  • Drill Kit
